Greeting Cards

Why is it so hard to find a decent, non-sappy, reasonably priced card WITHOUT glitter?!

I wanted to buy a Congrats/Baby Girl card to send to a friend. Yet, so many greeting cards are terrible for the following reasons:

• expensive!!!
  
• glitter - why MUST everything need to sparkle?!?! (especially girl-oriented cards)
• most non-glitter baby cards were boy-oriented (blue, message mentioned boy/son, etc.)
• when I found a decent card, it was either too big or too small; thus requiring EXTRA postage (urg!)
• really sappy message inside

In the end, I decided to postpone the purchase. Maybe I'll have better luck at another store.
